The Lone Star Wolves 2012 Spring Player Development Camp has trained players over the past 10 years. The Program is designed to give all players the chance to compete at a high level and play with other age specific players from around the DFW area. All players are trained using the principles, concepts, strategies and practice plans created by Wolves coaches from years of experience and success. Players not only engage in on ice competition but train off the ice to enhance conditioning. Our players are taught good solid values and the benefits of team play

The Lone Star Lady Wolves are committed to girl’s hockey by making hockey available to all girls! The Lady Wolves commitment to growing girl’s hockey does not stop at offering recreational hockey, select hockey, and providing learn to skate programs to any girls wanting to lace up a pair of skates, the commitment extends to building a new locker room for the girls select program and providing the best coaching for youth development and continued development.

Girls do play hockey and so can you!

6th “All-girls learn to play hockey clinic”!

With the number of younger girls that want to play hockey or at least want to try hockey the Lone Star “Lady” Wolves thought it would be great to come up with a specially design program for beginners of any age to learn to play hockey.

Lone Star “Lady” Wolves are proud to announce the 6th all girls learn to play hockey clinic. The Wolves have secured one end of the ice every Monday from 5:45 PM to 6:45 PM with the 12U girls recreational team. The clinic will focus on individual skills like transitional skating, hockey stops, and stick handling. The program will require kids be in full pads with hockey stick.

The Lone Star “Lady” Wolves will have gear to use and/or gear to keep if you wish to continue playing hockey.

The program will start Monday, April 16th and complete Monday, June 4th.

When calling the rink ask to be signed up for the Lone Star "Lady" Wolves all-girls learn to play hockey clinic.

The Lone Star Wolves and Lone Star “Lady” Wolves are dedicated to growing girl’s hockey in North Texas and are in high gear to promote and strengthen girl’s hockey. The Lone Star “Lady” Wolves will be fielding a 12U prep team in NTXHL this F/W and an all girls’ 12U and mite recreational teams this Fall/Winter season in the RHL.

    GO WOLVES!

Lone Star Wolves offer programs for everyone!

The Lone Star Wolves take pride in past accomplishments but none bigger than the accomplishments of the programs the Lone Star Wolves started this 2010-2011season. The Wolves are the first hockey program to offer such programs as the SR Wolves focused on parents of players in the Wolves organization, the Lady Wolves “All girls learn to play hockey clinic” designed to promote and grow girl’s hockey in North Texas, Recycle the game program, and many more programs in the works. In addition to offering programs not offered by other organizations the Wolves also stay true to the programs that have help allowed many kids and families to have an enjoyable hockey experience. The Wolves programs are designed and directed at growing hockey regardless of age and/or gender. The two (2) Wolves “Kids First Programs” in 2011 gave an opportunity to over 40 kids (boys and girls) that have never played hockey to try it for free.

Thanks to all the Lone Star Wolves volunteers for making these programs successful as the kids with their families are the big winners.

    GO WOLVES!

    USA Hockey Level 4 Certification

Congratulations to Roger Smith, Steve Schneider, and Scott Hullum. In addition to dedicating their time to the community coaching select and recreational teams these coaches dedicated their free time to attend the USA Hockey Level 4 class in Frisco, Texas this past weekend (Sep 10 – 12). The 3 day class took 18 hours of training from class room time to on ice demonstrations.  The Grapevine Wolves are very proud to have such dedicated coaches and USA Hockey Level 4 certified coaches in the organization.

    Great job!
